Milan School Reviews exists because the question every international family asks — which school is actually right for us? — had no honest answer. School websites are marketing. Word of mouth is unreliable. And the decisions are too important to leave to chance.
Why we built this
Milan has one of Europe's most concentrated international school ecosystems — British, American, IB, bilingual — and thousands of expat and internationally-mobile families navigating it every year. We built Milan School Reviews because we believe those families deserve access to real, unfiltered experiences from people who've already made the decision.
How the reviews work
Every reviewer is a verified parent. Most members upload proof of enrolment — a school invoice, acceptance letter, or report card — which we check manually before their review goes live. Founding members are personally vetted and don't need to upload anything to submit; if we ever need to verify a detail in their review, we reach out and ask for a document. Your identity stays private either way: reviews appear under a chosen alias, never your real name.
Why it's invite-only
Open review platforms get gamed — by schools, by competitors, by people with no connection to the institution. By controlling access and verifying every member personally, we protect the integrity of what you read. Every review on this site comes from a real parent with real experience.
